Delta is a metro and railway station in the municipality of Auderghem/Oudergem, in Brussels.
The Delta metro station is on line 5, which amongst others, has stops in Schuman, Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet, and Central station. The railway station located within the same complex has two platforms and is served by the suburban train line 26 linking Vilvoorde with Halle via Etterbeek.
The metro station is located near the intersection of Boulevard du Triomphe/Triomflaan and Boulevard des Invalides/Invalidenlaan and provides access to the Plaine campus of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and to the Etterbeek campus of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). The ULB and VUB are both institutions which trace their origins to the Free University of Brussels, founded in 1834 by Belgian lawyer Pierre-Théodore Verhaegen. These french-speaking and dutch-speaking institutions are two of the most important Belgian universities.
