Opéra is a station of the Paris Metro, named after the nearby Opera Palais Garnier, built by the architect Charles Garnier. Located at the end of the Avenue de l'Opéra, it serves the district of Boulevard Haussmann, which is in the center of Paris.

The station offers a connection to the metro lines 3, 7 and 8, and the RER (Réseau Express Régional) A and E. The metro station also served the bus lines 20, 21, 22, 27, 32, 29, 45, 52, 66, 68, and 95, as well as the night train N15 and N16.

Aside from the opera, the metro station is surrounded by big chain supermarkets, restaurants (Five Guys, McDonalds), hotels (Intercontinental Paris Le Grand, Sofitel Le Scribe Paris Opéra and shops (Zara, Sephora…), thanks to its central location.
